Transforming Lives
About Us
Teaching God’s love and life skills

Crown of Beauty Ministry was established in 2017 when Janet Peek saw first-hand the immense need to serve the women of Kenya who were facing the challenges of daily life including food, shelter and education. Many had been left with no resources and no training to earn income for their daily survival. Without skills, education, or resources, many were at risk of losing their children in their struggle to survive. With these needs in sight, Crown of Beauty was established to reach these tangible needs. With a goal of keeping mothers and children together as a family, Crown of Beauty Ministry is touching the lives of these underserved, and often forgotten, women of Kenya.
Our History

We strive for excellence in all aspects of our ministry, from the quality of our products, the efficiency of our program to the professionalism of our staff. We believe that excellence honors God and demonstrates our commitment to the women we serve.
Our Values

Through this program, each woman is provided with the skills, supplies, and resources to sew and design products which they sell to create income for their family. Each one is given housing for her and her family (utilities included), tuition-paid schooling for her children, medical coverage, and a stipend to purchase family groceries. They are provided with education to manage a budget and taught how to manage their personal finances. Meeting the physical needs of these women is only a part of these womens' needs, so each student is also involved with weekly Bible study, personal discipleship, and presented with the life-saving knowledge of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
