Each student that commits to our one-year program is given a sewing machine along with extensive training and all necessary supplies. We teach them sewing techniques, pattern-making, fabric selection and garment construction. With these skills, each woman proceeds to make clothing, accessories, household decor, and other items. As they progress through the program, we also provide training and education in how to manage their personal finances. These skills will be the backbone for the student’s self-sufficiency when she graduates from the program.

This comprehensive approach aims to help them rebuild their lives, achieve financial independence, and provide for themselves and their children.
